Watterson Lowe is the author of "The Painter's Daughter," winner of the 2015 Colorado Book Award. His stories have been published in many prestigious literary journals, including The Missouri Review and The Missouri Review. He earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Iowa Writers Workshop and a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. He teaches creative writing at Colorado State University and lives with his wife in Fort Collins, Colorado.
